Summer is in full swing and it’s time to spruce things up on the home front! If you caught our earlier blog post about Spring Mantel Décor, you know how much we loved partnering with Sarah Sarbacker and Andrea VandeBerg of Cherry Blossom Events (CBE) to get their opinion on seasonal decor trends and how to best incorporate them into your new Veridian home, more specifically your new Veridian home mantel.
To breathe new life into your mantle this summer season, follow the steps below.
STEP 1: Start with a clean palette and one simple statement piece that can last all seasons – like this octagon mirror that CBE sourced for us from Cost Plus World Market.
STEP 2: Add in fresh greens, paired with coastal blue taper candles for a fresh, airy vibe. We used glass vases that we had on hand in varying heights to create a hierarchy, picked up some sprigs of greenery from Flora by Jamae and paired them with these dainty candlesticks from Cost Plus World Market.
STEP 3: Next, display your best collection of vintage books and add in a few personal elements, like an antique gold picture frame that holds your favorite summer memory.
STEP 4: Lastly, top it all off with a few small neutral accents and one last sprig of greens for both beauty and balance.
