Veridian Homes and the City of Franklin are excited to host a groundbreaking today, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 4pm for the City’s newest neighborhood, Aspen Woods. This 46-acre neighborhood is set to be located on the corner of Puetz Road and South 51st Street.
“We’re thrilled to see our community expanding and thriving,” said Mayor Steve Olson. “Aspen Woods will add 69 homes to the City of Franklin, that’s more than $30 million being added to the City’s value. Veridian Homes has been a great business to work with, and I’m excited to see the neighborhood take shape.”
Aspen Woods, a Franklin, Wis. neighborhood, will be Veridian Homes’ third Milwaukee area neighborhood. Aspen Woods is being zoned for 69 single-family homesites, five outlots, a park, two storm water retention ponds and wetland conservation features. Homes are expected to range in size from approximately 2,000 SF to 3,400 SF and pricing will likely start in the low $400s. Pending plat approval, Veridian Homes is hoping to begin building homes this fall.
The groundbreaking for the neighborhood will be located on the corner of Puetz Road and South 51st Street. Snacks, treats and beverages will be available. The general public is welcome to attend.
